I’M A PET PERSON, ARE YOU? There’s been a dog (sometimes a cat) in my home for most of my life. Caring for a pet has many health benefits for older folks. Sure, it’s a little work and some expense, but they become part of the family in a short time. And their unconditional love is consoling when life gets stressful.
